FAQs

Common Questions

Absolutely — most of our students start from zero. Our beginner track starts with the alphabet and builds systematically. Your tutor will speak English (or your preferred language) to explain concepts clearly until you're comfortable with Arabic instruction.

If your primary goal is understanding the Quran, choose Quranic Arabic — it focuses on Quranic vocabulary and grammar. If you want to read books, news, or communicate across the Arab world, choose Modern Standard Arabic. Many students combine both after completing the beginner level. Your tutor will help you decide during the placement session.

Yes — all our Arabic language tutors are native Arab speakers, mostly from Egypt, with degrees in Arabic language or Islamic studies. They are fluent in English and experienced in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.

With consistent study (2-3 sessions per week), most students achieve basic Quranic literacy within 6-12 months — meaning they can understand common Surahs and follow along with translation. Deeper comprehension develops over 18-24 months as vocabulary and grammar expand.

Our main curriculum teaches Fusha (Modern Standard Arabic) — the key to Quran, formal communication, and all written Arabic. For conversational Arabic, we offer Egyptian and Levantine dialect tracks that complement your Fusha foundation. Most students learn Fusha first, then add a dialect.

Did You Know?

Arabic's root word system means you can unlock up to 50+ related words by learning just one three-letter root. For example, the root ك-ت-ب (K-T-B) generates words for writing, book, library, writer, office, and more. This is why Arabic is one of the most logical and learnable languages in the world.
